Breville Kettle
People everywhere enjoy drinking tea. A stylish Breville kettle with its modern design might please both your aesthetic side and your more practical side.
Breville has several different types of electric tea kettles. The least expensive seems to be the Breville SK500XL 1.7 Liter Ikon Brushed Stainless CordFree Kettle. In January 2011, it sells for approximately $70. It’s a 1500 watt kettle that holds 54 ounces (1.6 liters) of water, heats quickly and shuts off automatically when the water comes to a boil. When it shuts off, a bell rings to let you know that your water is ready to pour. According to the Breville website, this particular Breville kettle was designed to “complement the modern kitchen.”
The Ikon received mostly favorable customer reviews on the Breville website. One reviewer had the Breville kettle for more than two years without a problem and loved it. Two others complained that their kettles stopped shutting off after they’d had them for several months. Since nothing is perfect, you can always expect that some people will buy faulty kettles.
If this should happen to you, make sure you know the return policies of the place where you bought it. If your kettle has a warranty, you may be able to get a replacement direct from the manufacturer at no extra cost, other than, perhaps, shipping and handling. Always read the paperwork that comes with any product you buy and always save the box. You never know when you might have to return or exchange something.
If you have a modern kitchen and want to maintain that modern look even in your appliances, then a Breville kettle is right for you. A fast heating kettle with a sleek modern design, the Breville kettle will give you boiling water in less than 10 minutes and look good doing it.
