thought the Hobbs kettle worked well and had durability. One person complained that the wires in the base burned up after only two years. More than one person, including those who gave the kettle an overall positive rating, lamented that the kettle has plastic parts inside that could come in contact with the water. Like the Ellora, the RHTT8W has a 1.7 liter capacity. It’s also a 1500 watt cordless kettle and is made of heat resistant plastic. It shuts off automatically and was designed for right handed use. Besides a tall, trim white tea kettle, the tea tray comes with a glass carafe in which you can brew your tea. Both sit on the tray, which keeps them just-brewed hot. As of January 2011, you could purchase the Ellora Tea Tray for between $40 and $50, depending on where you buy it.
